Since the beginning of our project in 2007 we have always been supported by volunteers and their cheerful, energetic engagement in the work. These helpers are a rich resource and have become an indispensable asset to our progress. At the same time their stay with us has always been an exciting, eventful and rewarding one for the volunteers. Volunteers are usually recommended by friends who are enthusiastic about supporting education. The volunteers generally stay for one year. Since 2012 visitor permits for German citizens have been restricted to 3 months. Therefore, one-year volunteers can be hired only if they possess dual citizenship. However, we are still interested in visitors who would like to help even though it would only be for a shorter period of time. We look forward and are happy about each contact! In that case it is a preferred, though not absolutely essential, prerequisite for the candidate to have at least a basic knowledge of Portuguese.

Scope of Work
- Maintenance of buildings, property, garden
- Assisting during classes and with the courses offered. Emphasis according to personal ability, such as sports, music, arts and crafts, trades, foreign languages, theater projects, etc.

For your application we require a curriculum vitae with photo. The CV should describe your school education and professional career as well as internships if applicable.
